Our investigators start by stating, “We’re trying to help clear up outstanding balances or nsf checks for XYZ Company. Your company’s name is on the list, and a review of your balance shows it is past due. When do you expect to get this account current and what can we do to help with the recovery? Phone calls only, no personal visits to the debtor. Make debtor aware there’s a collection problem and that a third party is now involved. A slap on the wrist and a “Let’s get this paid up right away.” In a lot of cases this approach is all that is needed to get this matter resolved: When maintaining your customers’ good will is as important as the recovery, this approach increases your cash flow with-out impacting your customer base. Our staff of seasoned professionals knows the difference between a customer and a debtor. Standard Approach-
Phone calls & Demand letters to the debtor. Make debtor aware there’s a collection problem and that a third party is now involved. Serious action will be taken if the debt is not retired right away. There will be a sense of urgency in getting this account promptly paid. We continually bombard the debtor with phone calls and demand letters by mail, e-mail or fax if possible. Sending letters alone simply does not work our investigator will attempt contact daily until direct contact with your customer is established. Once contact is established our credit trained collectors will continue working with your customer’s daily until payment terms are reached.

Aggressive Approach-  Asset & liability Investigation provide an in-depth look into your debtor’s business that may uncover valuable information used to perform successful business debt recovery. Information such as open lines of credit, non-sufficient funds, liens, judgments, other vendors experience, hidden assets or plans to sell can help determine how to proceed with debt recovery. RTS utilizes asset investigators to locate debtors’ assets. Once the investigators have located assets such as hidden bank accounts, our investigators are able to enforce the collection of your claim. Our credit trained private investigator will travel to your customer’s location to establish initial contact with your debtor. If the field investigator is unable to establish contact our internal collectors will start attempt contact daily, legal demands will also be issued to the debtor through our relationships with the commercial law league of America. This will generally put RTS in direct contact with decision makers with the debtor company & puts us in position to successfully negotiate payment concerning the balance owed. RTS will also start credit reporting through our relationship with Experian credit group if you have a personal guarantee reporting will be performed on the company & the guarantor personal credit report.
If after 90 days your balance is still unpaid or resolved RTS will advise you of legal options available through the Commercial Law League of America typically less than 1% of cases assigned will need a legal review done at this point generally a payment plan or resolution on the full balance has been accomplished.
